“A10 battery equivalent” is one of the most-asked hearing aid questions — and the answer fits in one line: A10 = PR70 = 10A = P10 = size 10. Same 5.8 mm zinc-air cell, four naming systems.

What is an A10 battery equivalent to?

An A10 battery is the same cell as PR70, 10A, P10 and size 10 — one 5.8 × 3.6 mm zinc-air hearing aid cell rated 1.4V under four naming systems. Match any one of those codes and you have the right battery; only the labelling differs between IEC, retail and manual wording.

Name Chemistry Voltage Size Where you see it
A10 Zinc-air 1.4V 5.8 × 3.6 mm Hearing aid pack
PR70 Zinc-air 1.4V 5.8 × 3.6 mm IEC-style name
10A Zinc-air 1.4V 5.8 × 3.6 mm U.S.-style name
P10 Zinc-air 1.4V 5.8 × 3.6 mm Retail name
Size 10 Zinc-air 1.4V 5.8 × 3.6 mm What the hearing aid manual says

All four cross-references are the same cell — no adapter, no guesswork.

The mismatch to avoid

“A10” also names unrelated consumer products — Samsung Galaxy A10 phone batteries, Tineco A10 vacuum packs. Those are not 5.8 mm zinc-air cells. If you search for hearing aid cells, match the stamped PR70 / 10A / P10 number, or the “size 10” wording in the instrument manual — never the device brand.

Which instruments use A10?

The smallest in-the-canal (CIC) hearing aids — the least visible type, and the lowest listening time per cell: about 3–7 days.

If the battery drawer only has A312, the size difference is real: A10 is 5.8 mm across, A312 is 7.9 mm — the A10 will rattle loose in a size-312 holder.

Where to buy

Zinc-air cells ship 6 pcs per pack, 100 pcs per box, factory direct — A10 wholesale →, full A-series →. Distributors rotate stock by tab seal: the tab is the battery’s life clock.
