Compliance pack for an export buyer
An importer supplying ten markets needed UN38.3, maritime and air certificates alongside CE/RoHS — delivered with every lithium order, not upon request.

Client type
Importer / trading company supplying EU, US and Middle East markets.
The challenge
Each destination classifies batteries differently: 3V lithium cells need UN38.3 plus air or maritime transport certificates, while the EU market also enforces child-resistant packing and restricted-substance documents.
How we solved it
- The trade team packages the certificate folder per destination: UN38.3 for the whole CR range (CR927–CR2450), maritime and air transport certifications, CE, RoHS and the China national test report.
- For the EU/US shelf we switched the order to child-resistant 5-pcs cards and included the bilingual warning panel the market requires — all in the same production run.
Highlights
- UN38.3 covering the full CR range, not one model
- Maritime + air certificates provided per shipment
- Child-resistant packing and warning panels per market
Outcome
The importer consolidated its battery sourcing on TIANQIU: documents travel with each shipment, and compliance questions are answered by the trade team within one business day.
